Ken Shofter, former Trustee, has accepted the position of Archivist for the BAHS. Ken has been instrumental in beginning the process of moving our archives from their current format to a well recognized program, “Past Perfect.” He has also been involved in our recent purchases of equipment that will assist with this project.
Interim Museum Committee Chair
Liz Baker has agreed to serve in this position. Thank you Liz!
Vacancy on the Board of Directors
The BAHS needs to fill the position of Trustee left vacant by Ken Shofter accepting the position of Archivist. The term of office ends Dec 31, 2020.
Opportunities for our New and not so new Members!
The BAHS is a volunteer operated organization. Please consider volunteering to serve as a Trustee or a docent for the museum. Volunteers are also needed to archive the artifacts that are donated to the museum. Our community events and fundraisers such as the Dinner-Theater, National Donut Day and Antique Tractor show require volunteers for all kinds of jobs from stuffing envelopes to greeting people and fixing and serving food. Please call Terry Borah at 740-438-9211 or email the office at BAHS43107@gmail.com to let us know how you would like to help.
George Washington
Thank you to everyone who supported the program on February 24th. And a special thanks to the students in the classrooms of Ms. Kostiuk, Ms. Barr, Ms. Freeland, Ms. Neal and Ms. Allen at Bremen Elementary School. They provided art work for display during the event. Their teachers each received a Hobby Lobby gift card to use for classroom supplies.
