“National Donut Day” Celebration Great Success
BAHS and the newly formed Bremen Activities Committee provided crafts and games for many youngsters of the Bremen area. Games included old fashioned sack races, donut strut (cakewalk) and a donut eating contest!
BAHS wants to thank Jack & Patti Frohnapfel, from the Ohio Glass Museum, for showing the youngsters how to play marbles! They were a real hit. BAHS has registration forms for the 2020 Fairfield County Marbles Tournament. Call if you would like one.
Adults and children alike enjoyed complimentary donuts, juice and coffee. Door prizes were awarded to the families with the most members and the most generations present.
There were 4 generations of the Baker-Fisher family present, including a great-grandmother who was visiting from Kentucky!
Many of those present toured the museum. Some said they had no idea that there was a museum in Bremen!
Vacancies on the Board of Directors
The BAHS needs to fill the position of Trustee. The position of Secretary also needs to be filled. Call Terry Borah at 740-438-9211 for more information.
Opportunities
The BAHS is a volunteer operated organization. Please consider volunteering to serve on the Board or as a docent for the museum. Volunteers are also needed to archive the artifacts that are donated to the museum. Our community events and fundraisers require volunteers for all kinds of work from stuffing envelopes to greeting
people and fixing and serving food.
Thanks to Joe Hoover & Rick McCandlish for mowing and trimming the grounds around the BAHS buildings!
Please contact Terry Borah at 740-438-9211 or BAHS43107@gmail.com to let us know how you would like to help.
Thank You to our “Donut Day” Volunteers!
Terry & Bunny Borah, Irene Kunkler, Evalyn O’Reed, Cinda Keller, Linda Embrey, Judy Turner, Kathy Mowry, Toni Harper, Tracy Shahan, Debbie Wolfe, Sally Grimm, Dan Rutherford, Angie Skinner & Hillary Conrad. Our apologies to anyone we missed.
