Burgee Flag

The Burgee flag, on display in the hallway of the BAHS Museum Center, stood in the State Capitol in 1984.  It was recently sent to be dry cleaned. A big “thank you” goes to Fashion & Vanity Cleaners in Lancaster, OH who cleaned the flag free of charge!

FAMILY HEIRLOOM

Wayne and Cenell Boch are two of our new members this year. They recently shared this picture. Wayne says it was his great-great Uncle Bill Ambrose Vincent Boch’s blanket chest. It has handmade hinges. The family believes the chest “came over on the boat” when the Boch family immigrated from Germany to the US in the early to mid 1800s.

Do you have a family heirloom you would like to share in the next EXTRA ? Please email the information to Kathy Mowry at dmowry@frontier.com.
